Waterjet Cutting

  • Waterjet Cutting will cut Most Materials with the exception of Glass
  • No Heat is generated on the cutting process
  • Minimum thickness = 0.005” thick
  • Maximum thickness = 7” thick
  • Minimum part size = 0.500” x 0.500”
  • Maximum part size = 71.50” x 143.50”
  • Minimum hole size = 0.063” for Most Materials
  • Minimum hole size for Composites is 0.125”
  • Typical tolerances:
  • Holes +/-0.005”
  • Hole Location +/-0.005”
  • Profile +/-0.010”
  • Minimum Part spacing is 0.200” between parts and a 0.500” space all around the sheet is required to allow us to clamp material to waterjet table. Thicker materials will require more space.
  • Waterjet cutting will leave a sharp edge and cut will have a sandblasted look with some striations which will vary depending on cutting speed.
  • If your parts don’t fit this guideline, feel free to contact us to discuss your project.
